Cristina Cifuentes
Cristina came to the Harrison Riedel Foundation motivated by a desire to use her skills and experience for the benefit of the wider community, in particular young people. She has over 35 years’ experience, in both the public and private sectors working in a range of industry sectors including government policy, superannuation, investment management, finance, telecommunications, energy and transport. Most recently she was a Commissioner of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and a Board Member of the Australian Energy Regulator. Cristina has extensive experience in non-executive director roles with a particular emphasis on strategic planning, governance, risk management and audit.
Cristina has an ongoing interest in community work including being a member of the Finance Committee of the historic St Patrick’s Church in Sydney’s Rocks district and participating in mentoring programs.
She holds degrees in Economics and Law.
